Experience the Diversity & Grandeur of Scotland
Almost all itineraries start or end with Edinburgh, and rightfully so as this is one of Europe’s greatest and most accessible cities. If you love to walk, you can conquer Edinburgh in a few days and even enjoy an incredible hike up Arthur’s Seat, a dormant volcano that overlooks Edinburgh’s steeple-filled skyline. Few streets in Europe are as special as the capital’s Royal Mile, where you can trace the history of the nation from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. From Edinburgh, one can travel in infinite directions. Most venture north into The Scottish Highlands, and this area is often misunderstood as it is not simply one small region but rather is a massive landmass with many distinct areas to explore. The Highlands are actually larger than Belgium, but only around 200,000 people live in this remote and beautiful land.

So Much to Do...Not Enough Time!
From Scotland’s West Coast and Islands to the Central Highlands to Aberdeenshire, a guest could stay multiple days exploring each of these areas. In addition to The Highlands, other favorite areas include St. Andrews (so much more than the Home of Golf), Perthshire, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs, Glasgow and Ayrshire. Scotland is also home to a myriad of exciting activities for couples and families. We consistently get incredible feedback on falconry, horseback riding, hiking, boat trips, sea kayaking, and, of course, golf! Our favorite golf courses to book for clients include Royal Dornoch, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Gleneagles Centenary, and of course the Old Course. As for distilleries, Scotland is truly an embarrassment of riches, and we can arrange exclusive experiences at favorites such as Dalwhinnie and Glenmorangie, but we also love introducing whisky lovers to smaller distilleries like Benromach and Edradour.

Let Us Match You with the Perfect Hotel
In terms of hotels, almost every property that we book has an incredible history and story. They are all in great locations, perfect bases for exploring, and each has one other very important thing in common: exceptional service! Many of our handpicked Celebrated Hotels in Scotland are intimate family owned and operated country houses such as Isle of Eriska and The Torridon. On the other extreme, we also love Scotland’s special resorts such as Gleneagles, The Old Course Hotel and Cameron House. Of course, we look forward to suggesting special castle experiences too! And yes, there are many types of properties in between, even hip and trendy boutique hotels. We annually inspect every property we book, and we look forward to handpicking our favorite rooms and suites.

Put Us to Work!
For such a small country of just 5 million residents it is remarkable just how huge the impact this nation has had on our civilization. From Shakespeare’s Macbeth to Disney’s Brave; from Walter Scott’s Rob Roy to Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander, Scotland has inspired our collective imagination. The sound of bagpipes at sunset, crashing waves on the Isle of Skye, and the colorful Scottish accent are just a sampling of the sounds that will delight your soul. The bottom line is that every traveler is special and the goal of each trip is unique. Each Scotland itinerary we create is personalized, and we are eager to get busy customizing the perfect trip.
