Baglioni is privately owned by a family dedicated to the art of Italian Hospitality. Each of their hotels has its own story and weaves symbiotically with the local culture. The hotels all share a passion for dining and focus on tradition, sustainability, and attention to detail in delivering exquisite fine dining experiences in their hotels. Relais Santa Croce in Florence was our first Baglioni Hotel when we added it to our collection in 2016. The feedback was so incredible that we added their other hotels to our Collection for 2017. Now, we are proud to include Baglioni Hotel Luna in Venice, Baglioni Resort Cala Del Porto on the Tuscan Coast, Baglioni Hotel Regina in Rome and Baglioni Hotel Carlton in Milan as Celebrated Hotels. It has been a phenomenal partnership thus far, as these properties consistently exceed expectations and delight guests through their ethos of “the unforgettable Italian touch”; assuring that each stay is memorable, rich, and fulfilling.
While these properties are exceptionally well known to Italian elite, they are far less known to visitors. Take a journey through Italy’s most cherished regions with three of our exciting Baglioni properties.
Baglioni Resort Cala Del Porto
Largely unknown to Americans, Baglioni Resort Cala Del Porto is located in the unspoiled Maremma region on the Tuscan coast. This was actually the very first Baglioni hotel and is a great source of pride for their family. This 38-room property boasts fantastic views of the entire Tuscan archipelago, including Elba. This is a perfect locale to base clients who want to venture where there are few typical tourists or for clients who are looking for a new Italian adventure. Guests love learning more about Tuscan wine and the region’s unique history and culture.
They also have great facilities for guests to enjoy, including two exclusive beach clubs. While a great base for touring, guests are easily seduced by their calm surroundings. They relish the chance to decompress and connect with authentic Tuscany. Celebrated guests receive a Sunset Spritz aperitivo at La Vela Beach Club.
Relais Santa Croce
The second stop on your tour of Italy is Florence. At Relais Santa Croce it is easy to imagine you are living like nobility, enjoying the elegance and glamour of this 18th century palazzo. Guests are surrounded by frescoed ceilings, beautiful period furnishings with touches of contemporary design, and the most attentive staff. We love this central location in this walkable city, just a short stroll to the Basilica of Santa Croce. Most of Florence’s main attractions are within an easy walk. Celebrated guests receive a €50 Food & Beverage credit to be used in their restaurant once during stay and complimentary tickets to Palazzo Strozzi.
Baglioni Hotel Regina
The final leg of your Italian adventure concludes in Rome at the Baglioni Hotel Regina. One cannot beat the central location on the famous Via Veneto, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese Gardens. This is the former home of Queen Regina Margherita and retains its majestic air while breathing a breath of fresh air into the city with its 117 rooms and suites mostly decorated in art deco style. Their restaurant Brunello is fantastic, in keeping with the values described above. We are especially impressed by the hotel’s beautiful suites, some of the very best in the city. The investment here has been significant, and these suites are some of the most exclusive options for discerning guests. Celebrated guests receive a signature Brunello cocktail aperitivo and with a 3-night stay a complimentary 3-course lunch is included along with mineral water and a glass of wine selected by their sommelier.
